Who we are

We are a group of mothers and fathers, who are eager to collaborate with parents, the school and the entire educational community, always with one single objective: to provide joy for our children.

What we do

The Parents Association is responsible for various areas at school. Here is a short description about each one of them.

• AAAF (Family Entertainment and Support Activities) is a service provided by the Oeiras City Council, in partnership with the Parents Association - a social response that aims to meet the needs of families and children who attend the kindergarten at EB Manuel Beça Múrias.
  AAAF hours are between 3.30PM and 7PM during the school year and between 8AM and 7PM during school breaks and July. Max. monthly fee for this service is EUR 80.- . Discounts available depending on the social bracket (Escalão).

• CAF (Family Support Component)  is an educational space, with recreational and sociocultural activities, aimed at children at primary school level. Monthly fee for this service is  EUR 40.- (excluding the month of July).
  CAF hours are between 5.30PM and 7PM during the school year and between 8AM and 7PM during school breaks and July.
  There is also a "morning welcome" service available (8AM to 9AM ) for EUR 10.-/month.

How to (re)register for AAAF and CAF?

• Parent or guardian must be a member of AP EBMBM* and pay an annual fee of 10€; 

• AAAF - a filled Registration Form* and an Annual Insurance payment for the child of 10€;

• CAF/morning welcome service - a filled Registration Form* and an Annual Insurance payment for the child of 10€  and a subscription fee of 40€ 

• Payment can be made via bank transfer to IBAN PT50.0035.0454.0000.4100.4306.5.  or using MBWAY (960 386 041) or a Ticket (Ticket, Edenred Euroticket, Coverflex) or directly at the school (Multibanco);

• Registration is only formalized after sending proof of payment to a.p.beca.murias@gmail.com. 

• For (re)registration, monthly fees must be up to date.

During holidays and school breaks, places for children who are not enrolled for the entire year will be limited. 

Why become a member of the Parents Association

• Always be informed about the important matters relating to the school;

• Being able to contribute to improving teaching conditions and the well-being of everyone involved in the educational establishment;

• Being able to represent and defend the interests of children before competent bodies such as the School Cluster, City Hall and others;

• Participate in the organization and development of complementary educational activities for children;

• Contribute individually to the common interests of children, within the scope of school activities, through the exchange of experiences, knowledge, influences and information.

How to Register?

To register with the Parents' Association you must fill out the Registration Form* and pay the annual membership fee of €10 . You can do this using IBAN: PT50.0035.0454.0000.4100.4306.5. or using MBWAY (960 386 041) or pay directly at the school by Multibanco. Registration is only formalized after sending proof of payment to a.p.beca.murias@gmail.com.
